Microwave door

4 year old unit is junk to me.
Waking up one morning and seeing the microwave door open was stranding open but I thought that my wife had done this. I went to shut the door and it would not shut and latch. Something had broken inside of the door during the night. Keep in mind; we spared no expense when picking out all new appliances for our kitchen. Called a repair man that cost $100.00 for him to just pull into my driveway, told us that Maytag did not sell parts to the door that we had to buy the entire door at a cost of $200.00. So, we are now looking at $300.00 to get a new door. No thank you Maytag. Something happened to the two latch hooks on the door. They are still there but the door will not stay shut. Something inside of the door must have broken and the latches will not work. Anyway, I am pissed. After 4 years of little use from this unit; I know how a 40K kitchen with a POS microwave in it. I will not be buying anymore Maytag appliances EVER!
