They call at all hours, using this phone number  888-344-1268...never leave a message and I don't pick up the call. Why can't someone do something about this? I get these calls all the time and I have complained to the FCC, but my complaints fall on deaf ears...I am on the do not call list but I am still getting the calls. It has gotten so bad, that I do not answer my phone until someone talks and I recognize the voice....

    I totally agree with you!  My home phone is unlisted, unobtainable & I pay for this service.  I even got 1 ring calls at 3 a.m. every morning, it takes 2 rings for my caller ID & Time Warner to pick up.  I a disabled, live alone, living on SSDI, being treated for Anxiety & have physical disabilities & a sleep disorder.  I filed a written complaint with HPD, Honolulu Police Dept. & they handled all my area code 808 calls, for all other calls coming from out of our state the police office assigned to my case sent a written letter with all the names & phone numbers to the FBI.  The FBI said if I don't get a call from them in 2 weeks, nothing will be done because I lost no money!  Then there is my cell phone, I am supper careful who I give my cell number out to, my little sister's care giver (told to call me 24/7, she is the most important person to me) all my doctors were told to call my home 1st & leave a message, if they need to speak ASAP or need my ans. then call my cell.  Very few family & friends have my cell & they also know to do the same. PROBLEM: One late night I texted my neighbor giving him the name & phone number of a Stop Smoking company, turned off my cell to charge. Next morning my cell showed I had missed a call from that Stop Smoking company!  I had not called them from my cell, home phone or gotten on my computer.  THEY ARE READING MY TEXT!  I just Googled to "Unwanted phone calls." for a fee, aprox.  $100 yr. to clean all the sights you have visited!  This is like when everyone started getting computers & they were getting Viruses, etc. Since I live in Hawaii, there are now many things I need & unable to obtain except thru the internet!  THERE IS NO PRIVACY ON YOUR COMPUTER OR CELL!  All this BS needs to be stopped!  I have found that these Unwanted phone calls are coming from 3rd party companies, starting off as a Survey & then asking me if I have Medicare & any other medical insurance!  They have found a way around the "National Do Not Call Reg.!"  YES, SOMETHING MUST BE DONE FOR THE SAKE OF PRIVACY & FOR US WHO ARE DISABLED  LIVING ON FIXED INCOME!

    hang up on my answering machine.  if i call they want my last 4 SS no. will not say who they  are or who want to speak to or why unless i tell them my last 4..
