When I was renting a car from Sixt in the Frankfurt Int'l the lady at the desk persuaded me it was a diesel one. It had the papers in German I have no idea about. I am not a car expert and cannot tell a diesel car from a gasoline. So I trusted her. Only when I filled it up with diesel somewhere in the night I realized she was wrong! Despite that, Sixt forced me to pay for the repairment job.

    Has anyone been in conflict with Sixt CAr Rental Spain, they are claiming I returned their vehicle to Malaga Airport damaged, when I know it was 100% okay.

      Had the same problem...We rented a car in Spain and after returning it the sixt employee checked it out, said everything was 100 percent, he even drove it.  The damage deposit hold that they had on my visa was removed, we came back Canada and 8 months later got a l letter stating that this is the last warning for me to pay my outstanding damage charge.  No letters before that, no phone calls or emails (even though they had all our information) We did not move, change address.  What a SCAMMMM....I am going to speak with my credit card company and lawyer to put these scammers in their place.!!!

      Everything was good apart from a very cheeky, arrogant staff member Vikramjit who works for Sixt Birmingham Airport.

      Came across very unprofessional in his manner and how he conducted himself. He literally shouted at me rather then tries to attempt to speak to me. Demanded a handshake rather then naturally giving one,very dominant pose, I can go on and on. Said my cartrawler insurance was complete waste of money. Never seen customer service like this with all the years I have been renting cars.

        Sixt car rental bogus damage claim Spain.  My story is the same as everyone else rude Sixt counter  people and no assitance from checking out or checking in vehicle.  After returning to the U.S. I get hit with bogus damage claims.......

          This guy charged me £80 a day upgrade for a car i already booked. I didnt realise untill i was back in america. I also gave him 5 star service without knowing how devious he rally was. Goodbye sixt thought i try them out as they are new in america but never again.

            I'm sure this is the same SIXT staff i dealt with last year. He wears an Indian turban. He came across as very high-spirited enthusiastic in building a rapport. When he came down to selling me upgrade or even insurance he forced it on me. All he talked about is how much i can pay for a premium upgrade and offered me the worst car on fleet for the car i booked. I declined the upgrade. I found out weeks later he put the upgrade charge on there without me knowing and told me to quickly sign the RA. If this is the best sales person for Birmingham Airport branch he done that by being a  phoney + con + devious + crafty person. The only reason i continue to rent with SIXT is because it's a business account and it was not my money. I did complain about him at the car park and that's how i found out he's name Vikramjit or Vik.

              Nothing will happen. Vikramjit has special treatment. He even gets to have every bank holidays off when there is less opportunity to sell and when theres no support from management as there off. He does not want to be accountable for anything. There is favouritism towards him and because he's indian with turban he knows people are too afraid to challenge him as he allways uses his culture for his own advantage.

                If he was caught red handed, he will still deny it. He is a liar and a cheat !!!!!!!!!!!.

                If he finds someone else gets away with something he does all the time, then he will scream and shout. Pathetic person.

                  Vikramjit grooms every new staff member for his own benefit. He doesn't want the truth to come out that's why he turns against staff who are not afraid to speak the truth about him.

                  Been renting for long time but lately has given me bad service. Feel like hes racist towards muslims. I complained towards vikramjit sandhu when i arrived he was on twitter, facebook looking at trends and retweets. Felt like he was pretending that i was not there. Then became aggressive when i asked for car that was at the car park. I complained to manager mariana but she just took the side of vikramjit.

                      RA 9351397731 , New customer from Germany not aware of charges.

                      RA 9351415551,  Checked out and checked in did not resolve complaint.

                      RA 9363086742 , Was discounted to resolve complaint.

                      RA 9351397731 , Missold another corporate customer.

                      RA  9360717986 , Another corporate customer missold.

                      Vik got cabin staff member to check his last few rentals 02/10/17 to keep his RPD High.

                      RA 9361460814 , Reg YA17VEX, Used a damaged dirty car to secure upgrade and pretended by email it was fully clean by support staff. He checked the car in before he checked out. All done from the front desk.

                        I pre-paid for a car few weeks and making complaint about this staff member. I'm not surprised there somany complaints about Vikramjit on the internet. He refuse to give me a car and think its because of my race. I told him i don't want anything extra but continue to make things difficult for me. Offered me the worst car then said i did not have enough paperwork when i have statement with me. I tried to make a complaint about him and blond lady at front desk told me that he had disciplinary from SIXT for bad customer service. Supervisor Vikramjit needs to be sacked

          A staff member was sacked for stealing a car. Weeks later Vikramjit asked fleet manager that he wants his (refer a friend money) but fleet manager responded back like anybody else by refusing it and saying due to serious offence you wont get it. Vikramjit continue to pursue this by being persistent on his demands. He then took this further to the area manager. Eventually he got £500. This indicates that Vikramjit has no conscience and lacks personal integrity or even commonsense. If he wants something whether moral or immoral he will do his best to get it.

        Always get the close out ticket when you leave any car. The rental drivers are idiots who damage cars and then it is claimed against the renter

      I' ve rented a car in Paris in august 2010. from the office from gare de l'est paris. the agent sent me 3 streets away to pick up the car from parking. the car was parked at 4th floor in the darkness corner. nobody was there to give me the car. i had inspected the car, looking around to see any visible damage. because it was too dark i didn't see much. i've took the car and left. i have returned on the 17th august at charles de gaulle airport sixt's office. the agent from that office looked at the car and sayd that everything is ok. no paper has been made. just put me to sign in electronic device like a PDA. i asked what to sign for and reply for returning the car. i left france on 17th of august and on 20th of august they charge my credit card for rental fee. On 20th of september they charge my credit card again with 250 euro for a damage at the car that was rented by my. they took the money and after that send me an email with a service report and a bill for 250 euro. when a wrote to sixt they send me another email with pictures of car scratched, but from those pictures i can't tell where are made, when are made and also a report signed by me with the damage. i didn't sign any paper at returning the car (just in that pda where nothing was written jus a blank screen), i didn't received any paper from sisx when i returned the car.

      WHEN YOU RENT A CAR ASK THE AGENT TO GO WITH YOU TO CECK THE CAR.
      DON' T SIGN IN ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICE, BECAUSE YOUR SIGNATURE CAN BE PUTTED ON ANY PAPER AFTER THAT. ASK FOR PAPERS SO YOU CAN READ WHAT IS WRITTEN AND ASK FOR YOUR OWN COPY SIGNED BY THEIR AGENT.
      DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD, IF IT'S POSSIBLE, BECAUSE THEY CAN CHARGE YOU ANYTIME AFTER YOU LEAVING THE COUNTRY.

      DON'T RENT CARS FROM SIXT !!!
