When I first got Direct tv I was never told of a 2 yr contract with a DVR....nor was I told that my bill would rise as high as it did... I cancelled Direct tv Today(Aug 17,09),,,, When I called to cancel the service they informed me that I will be charged $20 a month till next April because of a Clause in the contract... something that was never explained to me... also my bill was rising,,,, they now say I owe $188.00 for one month of service.....I dont understand why my bills kept jumping around going higher/lower....I feel that I shouldnt have to pay the $20 early termination fee... and my bill should be look at for errors... when I feel this situation has been fixed I will pay my bill in full
