A number of "health product" companies run consumer scams cramming orders and charges for products consumers have not ordered, by hiding their "autoshipment terms" in fine print connected with their "free trial" offers.

The websites are typically constructed deceptively, to play up the "free trial", while hiding the "negative option automatic shicpment" terms, and often attempts to "cancel" are ignored, or simply evaded by unanswered phones.

Their business model is based on playing a game of "chicken", cramming charges for overhyped and overpriced products based on the obscured "authorization".  They have numerous complaints, going back years, from consumers complaining of unauthorized charges.

File fraud complaints with FTC, your state Attorney General, and at www.ic3.gov.

In addition, since it is illegal to mail bills for unordered merchandise through the U.S. Mail, file a mail fraud complaint with the U.S. Postal Inspector.

Send a letter to the companies, mailed certified, notifying them that you did not order their product shipped without your consent, and that you have filed mail fraud complaints for their violations of U.S. Postal Regulations.
