I got a $79.95 charge on my debit car charged to DRI*REG.NET REGNETORD.COMMNUS. I knew that I had recently gotten a free trial offer of Acai Berry Noni so I went to the website and did what I should have done in the first place..I read the fine print! It says this (I got this off the website)...'You will be billed thirty days from today to replenish your supply of Acai-Noni Burner and begin your monthly auto shipment unless cancelled (this is a savings off the retail price, and is available to you today). You will enjoy our auto ship program that will deliver your monthly supply of the Acai-Noni Burner Diet. You are still receiving this trial one hundred percent risk free because if, for ANY reason, you decide that Acai-Noni Burner is not for you, simply call 877-317-0189 and we will quickly assist you with canceling your Acai-Noni Burner auto ship program as well as help you with a refund.'   So, I'm going to call today and see if I can actually get a refund!

Looks like they are both trying to slip through their "automatic shipment" charges, while covering their [***] by claiming you can get a refund.

The fine print terms are presented in a manner likely to be missed, so we can assume this was intentional.  Most of these shady "health product" companies pull the same thing, but fight all refund requests.

Let us know if you actually get your money back, since with some of these companies, consumers claim that even though they cancel the orders, the charges keep happening until they close the account, with the company repeatedly denying any knowledge of cancellations despite repeated promises.

Note that DR*REG.NET is Digital River, a payment processing company apparently used by many small on-line retailers, with reports of a number of shady ones.

Payment processors typically charge their merchants additional fees for disputed and reversed charges.

What is the actual name of the on-line retailer selling the product?

    SAme here...scams!
I even sent back the original bottle and was never credited, but I was dumb enough to order, so I took it as a lesson learned.
Now another charge..which threw my acct into over-draft!
    I am angry!!!

Well I've learned my lesson you never get anything for free. I just got off the phone with them and was told that my account had already been credited even though this is the first time I had called. I told them to send me confirmation of this credit and the cancelation of this account that I never signed up for. We'll see what happens. Wish me luck I pretty sure I'm going to need it.

If your bank tells you there is no credit back to your account, you know what you are dealing with.  It is common for "health product" scammers to slip through repeated charges, and then string consumers along until the 60 day dispute period has passed and the bank won't assist with the problem.

Immediately contact your bank to dispute all fraudulent or unauthorized charges, and close the account to prevent future fraud.  Follow up with a written dispute to your bank, sent certified return receipt requested, and make sure they get it within 60 days of the statement date showing the fraudulent charge to preserve your federal FCBA or FRB Reg. E dispute rights.

Alright, so I am right here with all of you. I logged into my bank account online today to find my checking account was overdrawn. I had a weird charge from " DRI*.Net REGNETORD.COMMNUS " for $69.95. I was furious. I called my bank and filed a claim, canceled my debit card. Then i looked online and found the phone number for the site where I orderd the "acai" and Bromalite" supplements, (877)317-0189 I spoke to a gentelman there, explained the situation, and He said he would cancel my account with them and refund the money to my account in 5-7 business days. I'm still keeping he claim with my bank as I'm sure I'll have all kinds of other overdraft fees come in before this mess is cleaned up. I feel silly for ordering these in the first place now and will never do it aain in the future. I feel awful for all of you that have gone through the same thing. Best of luck to all of you and I'll comment again if I actually get my money back.

Same thing happened to me for both Acai Noni and Bromolite.  I first was charged $34.95 for Power Tea that I did not order.  They did refund that charge (and fairly quickly).  Then I received an email alert from my charge card company of a $79.95 online charge (these email notifications are crucial -- I advise that you set up alerts if they offer the service).  My call to DRI brought to my attention that I had not read the small print!  The guy said that he saw a pending charge for $69.95.  When I corrected him that it was for $79.95 I learned that DRI was charging me for both Acai Noni and Bromolite -- thus the different amounts.  The guy did say that he would credit the charge and provided both cancellation and refund confirmation numbers for the Bromolite (said he couldn't help with the Acai - different phone number).  We'll see if the credits hit my bank account.  Still can't get through to the Acai Noni people.  I plan to keep trying!

Yes you have to be very careful. I got it from the same people and what you can do is submit it to your bank and they will reverse the charges. I was so frustrated when I finally found a number for these people. This girl said her name was Catherine with an Oriental accent, I knew I was not calling the US. She tells me she can not refund my money because she can n ot find my information. I told her the fraud department at my bank will figure this out and it is theft. I never ordered anything. This world is a mess. I am very afraid to do anything online now. These people no there are few laws to govern internet traffic, and they will get you!

I called the number you listed and in fact after arguing awhile the lady did say she cancelled the charges.  I had told her the bottle was unopened and that I wanted to return it for a refund of all fees.  When asking for the address she came back with don't return it she would refund the money.  Also, my husband heard of this product from the Doctors show, I'm going to report this to them.  I also told them I had filed a fraudulent complaint with the bank.

PS:  dont us Credit report.com - its the same thing, you get the report for free and then a few months later you start getting charges on your account which they refuse to refund.

Thank you so much for providing that number. Luckily, I knew about the "free trial period" of 15 days and was planning on canceling the auto-ship tomorrow anyway...I was giving it that long for the Acai Berry to show up, which it has not yet. When I called the number on my bank charge the gentleman told me that they only handle Purity 12 colon cleanse (which I did receive) and I went ahead and canceled that auto-ship today. He said that for some reason a few of the Acai Berry offers show up with their number (877-300-6125) and that I should try either calling 877-484-2863 (which was a disconnected number) or my bank to get the actual phone number for the charges. So, I thought I'd go searching the internet for the site where I ordered the Free Acai Berry trial from and got bombarded with hits on "Acai Berry Free Trial--Scam Alert" links on google. That led me to this site and the phone number you provided for DRI*REG..which DID work and I got my order cancelled. I didn't ask for a refund of the $4.95 (which I probably should have done, since I never received the product)...I was just grateful to get it cancelled without seeing an $80 charge on my card and to get a confirmation number.

I used 1-800-999-2734 to stop Acai berry charge and customer service was courteous and stated that if there client didn't get back to me within two business days to contact them and then the can do the refund. Hope this works and yes I feel silly for ordering the product in the first place.

I just found an unauthorized charge of 79.95 on my bank statement.  I found out that the charge was for a subscription to some Purity 12 product that I never ordered.  I called 1-800-999-2734 reagrding this charge.  The woman who answered the phone was VERY curtious and informed me that she would put in a request for a refund with the company who charged my account.  She said that I should receive an e-mail from them within two business days; if not, they would issue me a refund through their company.  I know by reading other entries that others out there have had the same problem and was promised the same thing.  What I would like to know is if this company follows through with their promises.  Has anyone ever received a refund?  I feel like a fool!!!

I started getting packages at an old office address where I used to work from these guys as well as another company.  I think they use the same processor.  They were ordered online by somebody using my address, somebody else's email address and yet another person's credit card.  I couldn't figure out what someone would have to gain by that but if the credit card processor gets paid each time these guys have to refund a fraudulent shipment then I think they would be the most likely suspect.
