horrible equipment and incompetent staff

I signed up for personal training sessions back in December 2017. Since the new year, I have been bumped out of my spot because "the front desk" has scheduled new sign ups on my scheduled times. I have tried to be flexible, at least I think I have. Then, my trainer was promoted and he told me that someone would contact me to confirm my Monday at 6 (not my regular time, but ok) appointment. The new trainer just called and cancelled today, because he had other clients coming in today. I then rescheduled for Wednesday and Thursday. The email confirmations state Wednesday and Friday. I call the gym and finally get a person on the line and it took her awhile to comprehend the day mix-up, but hopefully I am now set.
I am just frustrated at how current customers are so easily bumped out of their spots for possible signups.; there is no loyalty. Additionally, the equipment is dirty and often used as coatracks as it is often broken.
