Same old story.

Went to the site for the FREE CREDIT REPORT.

Later, get billed for $11.95. Called the number shown on my credit card bill and cancelled, but they refused to refund the unauthorized charge.

Calling the credit card issuer, and VISA, now!!!

    See FTC's warning about "imposter" sites:

    These sites advertise "free", but actually sign you up to some "membership" with monthly fees if you fail to cancel.  Many of these sites are actually associated with the 3 major credit reporting agencies, which are required by law to provide you with a free annual report if you ordered thru the official "annualcreditreport" site.  That is the sort of company that is supposedly looking out for your identity, which they choose to regard as their property, saleable to anyone who will pay them money.

    Last March I purchased a car, the lender wanted a credit report now I am getting a bill from MNI credit reporting sercice, what can I do ?
