Faulty LCD
Complaint

I had purchased a 32"LCD TV on 30th november 2008 (Model no KLV-32S400A). At that time I paid Rs 40,199 which was 4000 rupees more than LG & Samsung LCDs. the TV stopped working in August 2011 and was repaired by Sony service station at the cost of Rs. 7806+440 as transportation charges. Again after one year the TV has stopped working and this time the estimate from Sony is for Rs. 11,600 + service and transportation charges.
Now I have decided to give the LCD to scrap dealer and buy a new TV. However, I am really disappointed with the quality of this product. An expenditure of approximately 50,000 has gone waste for me.
I and my family members have vowed never to buy any Sony product in future. The least the company can do is to waive my service charges this time.
I take this opportunity to advise the same to all who log in on this website.
