No car at pick-up location

This was my first and most likely my last experience renting a car though Car Rentals. Com. This was my MOST horrible experience renting a car ever. Car Rentals.com bbooked me a car in WRONG city. I needed one at the DFW Airport. You booked me a car in the City of Garland 28 miles away. The DFW location would not honor my reservation. I was told they were short of cars and could not provide one. Then a manger stepped in and said they could cancel and rewrite a new reservation for THREE TIMES the cost. (A car would magically appear for me then). I tried to contact Car Rentals .com at this time but you do not publish a phone number. In the end I paid $53 dollars to cab it over to the AVIS Garland location for my rental. If CR.Com is indeed a good company you will reimburse me for my cab cost, not my missed business meeting or my late appearance for a company dinner!
