    I called Star Sounds after doing an event and was told prior to the gig that payment would be on the date, as is the Star Sounds policy. I was not paid and called.I was told by Eric that Steve would get back to me, and he never did. I called again and Eric said that Steve was really busy with his other business. I finally called Steve directly and after numerous attempts to reach him, he finally answered and told me the client never paid him and it was his ex partner's fault. This is weird because it was a Star Sounds gig. I think both Eric and Steve are full on liars and in particular, Eric is running interference for Steve Leflar. This Leflar guy is a real piece of work.

    Summary of my 2009 unresolved payment due from Steve Leflar

       On January 9, 2009 I received a phone call from Eric Symons of North Bay Entertainment (NBE hereafter) to hire my band, Hot House for an event at Korbel Champagne, Guerenville, Ca. on July 11, 2009. On January 10 I received an email and contract from Crystal McLaughlin of NBE confirming all details. I mailed a signed copy of this contract to NBE, 4093 Concord Blvd., Concord, Ca. 94519-1514. We were to be paid $2000 for our performance. The contract was signed by Steve Leflar, owner of NBE and Star Sounds Productions, also at 4093 Concord Blvd., Concord, Ca.
       On July 11 Hot House performed at the wine club Speakeasy/Grapevine Swing event at Korbel. All went well with no problems of any kind.
       On July 13 in accordance with the contract I emailed a summary of the completed event to artists@northbayentertainment.com.
       After a few weeks I began to inquire about payment. Mr. Symons would always promise I would be paid, as late as October. Ms. McLaughlin claimed she no longer worked for NBE. Mr. Leflar claimed not to own NBE and tried to blame the debt on NBE’s previous owner Thomas Schoenberger. I contacted Mr. Schoenberger and he assured me NBE’s ownership was held by Mr. Leflar. I also contacted Julie Williams, Korbel’s Hopsitality Director. She mailed me photocopies of her contract – with Mr. Leflar’s signature - and both of Korbel’s deposit and balance checks for the event, all of which had been mailed to NBE/Steve Leflar, 4093 Concord Blvd., Concord, Ca.
       As of this writing I remain unpaid by Steve Leflar.

    Lets all line up and back Gig as he takes Steve Leflar and Eric Symons down.

    No Try. FACT. Does Embezzelment come to mind? For someone who has collected NBE checks on numerous occasions and deposited them into his account when he claims no ownership is What? The police officer was very informative. She said you were a hustler after viewing all the documents.

    The judge in Concord will remember you from you trying to vacate the judgement as Thomas Schoenberger DBA North Bay Entertainment that was denied. That's also the day you have the examination of assets.

    Criminal and civil action coming soon. It started today and then 3pm with the attorneys.

    The above post is Steven Leflar using my name. Leflar is under investigation for fraud. Please visit this site and make a complaint. The paper trail leads to Leflar, impersonating a city official, defrauding musicians, stealing from people. On April 5th, my friends and I will declare the evidence. including documents from city officials, clients, etc. This crazy SOB actually sent invoices today from info@northbaye.net and was caught red handed.
    The long arm of the law is dealing with Leflar now.
