I receive at least two phone calls daily from this company. There's never a message left by them on my answering machine and I did not request phone calls from them.
I just got a call from 478-268-6001 showing "Out of Area" for caller ID from WCA saying I had won a prize and please push a button. Did not do.

You are dealing with a company that is owned by a woman in India and registered in Cyprus. If you request to be removed from their calling list and the calls persist then you should continually file complaints with your Attorney Generals office and also file with: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov If enough people keep complaining then maybe something will get done. The only option is to go after the companies that are outsourcing to overseas boiler rooms.
JACKSON — The Mississippi Public Service Commission has fined a Nevada company $20,000 for violations of the Mississippi “No-Call” law and rules associated with enforcing the law. Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley announced the fine. Presley says the fine was against Worldwide Commerce Associates, LLC of Carson City, Nev. Presley says Worldwide Commerce Associates violated the law by failing to register and purchase the state’s “No-Call” list. The company also allegedly called people on the list and used an automated dialing system to communicate with consumers. The company shall be prohibited from making any calls as a telephone solicitor in Mississippi until the fine is paid in full.
Write your Congressmen and Senators. We need CRIMINAL penalties against the companies that are profiting from these calls. Follow the money, slap them in prison, no one left to outsource to overseas boiler rooms, problem solved.

In the SF Bay area, the phone number is 510-228-0854. They call both my iPhone and home phone. Here their scam is home mortgage. I totally agree it is most annoying, I also have signed up for the "Do Not Call " , but their calls keep coming through. It is so frustrating........ How to stop??

I just called this number, 1-800-269-0281, press 1 when prompted. Supposedly, it is to stop those annoying phones calls from coming and is WCA. You have to do it for each phone number you have. Let's see, time will tell! I've got my fingers crossed!!! Good luck to you all!

Fun with telemarketers
I received a call today from WCA with a GA number. They said I had won a vacation to Cancun. They just needed to verify my age and cc for hotel check in. So I asked the guy for his CC#. He said he couldn't do that. I said its ok since they won't charge it right? Then he tried to explain the promotion to me. I told him I just got an email from a Nigerian princess and if he would write a check for 1,000$ dollars I would split the million dollars, she was going to send me,with him. He hung up. Guess he wasn't amused.

"You've won 2000 dollars discount towards a free..." yeah we've heard this [***] before. It's the same [***] ripoff artists looking for your credit card number.
it's from some company called WCA. and these calls only seem to come when AFTER I've visited a money mart service. (they're the only ones who I've given my number to other than my utility, work and insurance...so I've got a limited pool of who got my number.)
And if you're on a 'do not call list' it's not going to stop these asshats from reaching you using an autodialer.
Just remember to tell money mart folks that YOUR number is on a DO NOT CALL LISTING. I'm pretty damned sure it's them as no other company has or been given a look at my number.

I'm more than a bit surprised to see a "10 Sep 2013" date on this list. I was being harassed, for years, as everyone else on this list, but I have not received a call from WCA since December of 2012. I am on the Do Not Call list and have registered complaints with them at least 5 times. Perhaps, it's finally paid off. But, there are 'other' types of harassment, sometimes simply because someone doesn't like you. In these cases, one only gets "Unknown" or "Restricted" on their caller ID display, and no one answers if you pick up the call. Do you remember back before Ameritech merged with AT&T, when Bush ("W") was still in office? Someone decided to let it be known that the U S government was listening in on many of our phone calls (without any court order, of course). Funny thing, though - as soon as that announcement was made, all of my harassment calls (not the telemarketers) stopped cold. I guess that sometimes the government can actually do some things that help us out without even trying to.

"You've won 2000 dollars discount towards a free..." yeah we've heard this [***] before. It's the same [***] ripoff artists looking for your credit card number.
it's from some company called WCA. and these calls only seem to come when AFTER I've visited a money mart service. (they're the only ones who I've given my number to other than my utility, work and insurance...so I've got a limited pool of who got my number.)
And if you're on a 'do not call list' it's not going to stop these asshats from reaching you using an autodialer.
Just remember to tell money mart folks that YOUR number is on a DO NOT CALL LISTING. I'm pretty damned sure it's them as no other company has or been given a look at my number.
