Don't like the Gotcha games

Since this was staged to appear to me as a GNC product, i decided to try it. Didn't realize the 'gotcha' until $74.98 appeared on my credit card statement.

Be nice if a company could put out a superior product that people could get excited about rather than this super-fine print, sleight of hand gotcha game with my charge card.

Aside from that, my $8 a bottle 'Alive' vitamins from walmart make me feel more alert, plus, they have prostate support so i sleep better at night. $8 a month!!!.

Thanks for less than nothing - Lumiday (Lunaticday is more like it)

This is a pattern of fraud common with on-line purchases of overhyped "health products".

Dispute fraudulent charges immediately through your bank, under FRB Reg. E for disputing checking account charges via EFT, ACH, or debit card, or under FCBA for credit card disputes, and close your account due to fraud to prevent additional fraudulent charges.  Your bank can reverse fraudulent charges showing on statements dated up to 60 days earlier than your original date of dispute.

Follow up to your bank dispute with a written dispute or fraud affidavit sent to your bank's dispute address, and file a fraud and theft complaint with your local police, FTC, your state Attorney General, and at www.ic3.gov.

Scammers will generally try to delay you with promises to "investigate", lies about how "you agreed", promises to send a "refund form", and other tactics designed to delay you past the 60 day dispute period where your bank can recover your money.  That is why you MUST dispute unauthorized charges immediately through your bank.

Lumiday is modern day snake oil - get the free sample but what they don't tell you is that after 18 days, if you don't call them, they will bill you for the product and shipping.  They will continue to bill you until you call them to request a stop shipment.  Of course they will never send you a bill to let you know what's happening, they will quietly keep taking the money out of your account.  If you're not up on looking at your billing statement monthly, you will contine to be billed.  Even after you call and tell them to stop they will continue to bill you until you have to cancel your credit card to stop them from dipping into it.  They will also charge you $4.99 to stop billing and shipping the product.  Is this a good business practice - for Lumiday it is.
