1. Called for service since the on button didn't work.
2. Repairman scheduled between 1-5.  At 5:15 we called asking where he was.  They said that he would call before he goy here.
3. He called and really pushed to reschedule and we said no.
4. Finally got here at 6:15.  He didn't even take anything apart, just started ordering parts online.  We were told when we made the appointment that the dishwasher would be repaired that day, but he said that he doesn't carry many parts.  He said that it would cost $450, but if it wasn't what he was thinking it may go up to $700.  He really wanted us to cancel.
5. We paid in full in advance.  It has been a month now and the washer still doesn't work.  We got a washer in a big envelope from UPS, and a gasket.  They said that the washer (GE Monogram) was too old (7 years old) and they could not get parts.  They said that they would need to manufacture parts on their own.  They said on the phone that we could cancel at anytime and get our money back, but just try to do it.  My wife has called and called spending hours on the phone to no avail.

If we had known that A&E was really Sears service, we would not have even called them.  The worst customer service in the business.  I will never buy anything from Sears or a Sears affiliated company again!
