I have a 2007 Whirlpool Washer that was "clacking".  I called A & E and they wanted $129.00 just for the service call!!  I have had them work on my dryer (same brand and year) and the problem of water in the dryer continues.  I understand the need for a charge to "get the van to my home", but I live 10 mins away from the A & E Factory service home base.  Gas is expensive, but puh-lease.

This company is beyond ridiculous when it comes to over charging. My refrigerator was making a loud noise each time the motor (at least I thought) came on.  Kitchen Aid recommended this company.  The Service Technician opened the freezer door and told me it was the fan that was making the noise and not the motor.  He then looked under the refrigerator grille door and told me to use compressed air to clean out the built up dust.  This took all but 5 mins and the bill was $125.  I was outraged as he did not repair anything.  I gave him a check and then stopped payment as soon as he walked out the door.  I called the company and told them I had stopped payment. They researched my complaint and provided a one-time courtesy refund of $50.  Now  1.5 years later, a Check Payment Service is trying to collect the $50 (that was credited).  They said the check was written to Sears so apparently Sears must own this company, of which no one will confirm.  So now I have to provide proof that this credit was given. Ridiculous!!!

Water in the drier....? is this a steam drier? if not I'd check to make sure the vent is clear and flowing with reasonably good force. sometimes the lint that gets by the lint screen will collect in the vent hose, slowly restricting it over time, or completely clogging it, usually outside where it exits the home. if the humidity coming out of your clothes cannot leave the drier, it may leave water in there.

This is THE WORSE repair service company I have ever did biz with. They have way to may employee's and no one no's what the opther one is doing. They have sorry tech's who doesn't no what they're doing and are womanizer's. They had me so upset the last time they were here and I meant it wouldn't happen this time. They have ordered the wrong part for my washing machine three times and they give you a week or two week down the line appointments. HUH? I have waited and waited and waited to get my washer fixed. I called yesterday to get an earlier appointment and the girl says no way, I said let me speak with the supervisor. He has to "email" his boss and they were to call me sometime yesterday. I still have not heard from them and here it is going on lunch time the next day. The part is sitting in my laundry room doing nothing. I wish these companies we buy our things from would just fire this company and watch it fall. They deserve no respect, as they give none.
