They called my cell phone harassing me and saying they could get me for withholding information about my family member whom they were looking for. Also saying she had a 2 part warrant. The man's name is Richard Ricardo. He was very rude to me and said I needed to give him any information I had. It really scared me. He even knew the county she was from. I called that county and she does not have any warrants out at all. Please do not let this scare you like it did me.

    typical shakedown scam..
    They have other complaints reporting illegal threats and harassment to collect bogus "debt".
    1)  It's illegal (violating FDCPA) for a debt collector to disclose information to third parties.
    2)  FDCPA prohibits abusive, harassing, or deceptive collection.
    The scammers do it anyway, because it's an effective form of harassment when you want to extort money without any proof it's owed..
