Leather sofa and love seat - love seat is losing color

I purchased these pieces from Macy's on 12/26/2010.  The love seat is losing color by the handle that makes the seat recline, by the headrest and by the back and by the seat itself.  The sofa does not have the same problem.  There are no children in the house - just one person, me.  As far as I'm concerned there should be no wear and tear on either piece.  I do not get a lot of company either.  I am extremely disappointed as these pieces cost over $2700.00 incl tax.  I did not get any satisfaction from Macy's since they were out of warranty.  This company should not be manufacturing leather furniture.
