http:// offers.indiatodaybookclub.com/greatoffers.This site is not opening. I hardly accept that they are cheating.Kindly forward the message to them ,if possible.

I have been writing time and again from last 3 months but so far nothing has happened.Finally i'm writing you and expecting some help.
There are 100's of incidents/calls I've faced with India Today Book Club but so far no nothing good has actually happened with me . I had trusted the brand name and guess so far that was the biggest mistake i have made. Except for buying few of the thing much above the market price, following with customer care for months ,nothing much this brand has delivered to me.
Among few of the most recent problem i wanted to raise here is about my purchase of Blackberry Bold 9000 mobile. I bought it around March 24,2010 and didn't get delivered till in April 2010. Then i decided to itself and i requested for refund . But so far my refund is lost within email communication (as you can see in my previous mails below)
Here is the Series of Event/Call between me and India Today book Club:
* First and foremost, during begging of the year 2010 I started getting calls from Book Club, 100's of calls, every day and night with regard to my name been shortlisted as India Today Book Club Lucky Customers and and there are some confirmed prize money allocated against my name.
* As per IndiaToday Book club executives, i can increase my prize money by buying more product from them. Initially i was reluctant to do any transaction based on any such calls, but after that everyday i started getting calls from Sr. Executive/ Floor Manager mentioning about the same offer and telling me to trust India Today Brand Name and make some purchase to increase my chances of wining. Initially they said there will be a lucky draw on 31st of March 2010 and i should buy at least one product from them.
* Somehow i got convinced and bought HTC Touch 3G mobile worth 19499/- (which actually cost 15,000 in the open market).
* Very next day i got another call saying "Sir, if you buy one more product from us your confirmed prize money will be doubled or so. (I guess the person who called me this time was Mr. Yakoob Ali). I ended up buying and Blackberry Bold 9000 of worth 29999/- (later on when i checked it on the market it actually worth 22,000).
* After two consecutive purchases next day i got a call saying. it's a call from verification department and my name is been confirmed for confirmed winner, but to be eligible for this contest i need to renew Dinning Plus membership and pay them 2500. I was totally bugged up of it but once again the caller convinced me saying you should trust India Today Brand and shouldn't miss this opportunity and finally made me take that dinning Plus membership.
* Best part there was on email or message confirmation of any of these lucky draw contest and purchase. While making purchase when i used to ask why don't they send any mail or message they used to tell me that it's part of confidential draw so they are not suppose to send mails and all.
* After that i was under impression that the lucky draw will happen on 31st of March and i should receive some call from in next few days after 31st March 2010. But like that happened, i called customer care but no help been offered to me. They simply said they don't have idea about it.
* Withing next 2-3 days i again start getting calls from India Today Book Club sales executives, when i checked with regard to the draw they said the date for the draw have been postponed to June 30,2010.
* But this time they came with different strategy, they told me that there is been a huge sum confirmed against my name. He informed me about every single information related to prize and the exact amount i won. He started asking which bank account i hold, we need at least two bank account details and other details like address and all. It gave me a feel that whatever was happening was not fake. He asked me how i feel after getting this news and said soon i'll be getting a call from verification department and they will provide me a government assigned booking id which will enable me to win the assured sum.
* Within next few minutes i got a call from Mr Naveen (as he said he is calling from verification department), but with the call he came up with a new offer, he said he can give me that government approved booking id only after i make a purchase of min some 15998. I was feeling helpless but he said i'm so close to winning the entire prize money, and i can win everything being promised to me, provided i purchase something from them.
* Finally i again ended up buying a Samsung HandyCam+Phillips Home Theater and DVD player of worth 15998. But the moment i completed the transaction Mr. Naveen cut the call without giving me booking id. Later on when i tried calling customer care and check about this booking i got to know that there is no such booking been made on against my IndiaToday Book club membership id. Almost after 20 days when i got my credit card statement for this transaction , i mailed the copy of the statement to customer care. Finally after 45 days i got my product delivered on 6th of July. Best part of this transaction was respected Mr Naveen who suppose to be calling me based on my previous purchases didn't even know my membership, he booked the product under new membership id.
* This story doesn't ends here, in next 2-3 weeks i always used to get calls congratulating me for my confirmed prize and asking me to make few more purchases to increase my winning amount. Now i was very much determined not to make purchase until they send me something in written, which never happened and they used to cut the call.
* Meanwhile i got a call from Mr. Abhishek saying i have won a gold box of Rs. 1,08,000.(which could be anything between cash to laptop or jewellery's). i was somewhat apprehensive about this news so i asked is there any catch, then they said , no i just need to buy a product min of 5999/- and pay INR 1176 toward gold box opening and handling charges.
* This time i was not at all interested buying anything until i could get some trust in India today, so the sales person forwarded my call to his manager (now i seriously doubt if there was any manager). Mr. manager informed about the same offer and said "Sir, we'll open your gold box now only and you will get to know the products offered to me of work 1,08,000 immediately after the payment.
* Somehow i trusted the manager and made the payment. I made purchase of Spice mobile worth 5999/- and paid money 1176 towards gold box charges. After the payment they informed me that i have won 4 Reebok watches and 98,00 worth of jewelery vouchers, which will be mailed to me soon. I received the 4 Reebok watch and Spice Mobile within 10 days of payment . But still i don't have any clue about 98,000 worth of Jewelery vouchers. I received a unique code with 4 Reebok watch gift box but this code doesn't seems to be working when i tired to use it online
There are many incidents which i can't even remember, but so far it's been most horrifying shopping experience to me. Specially with a brand like india Today. Hope to see help.
This is to inform you that one of your staff Mr.Amit called me on 15th or 16th and informed me that I had wined a prize of lucky gold treasure of one lac which will be giving by voucher. To get that you have to pay 14998/- also you will get (three options he gave me) I opted the second one which was Samsung mobile phone. Also paid Rs 349/- for handling charge. Web No:880161638 ( Rs.14998 ) Web No:880161005 (Rs.349/-). Now I received a RBK watch , which is not my requirement. So please check this matter and do the needful at the earliest.
