Dear Friends,

My strong recommendation to all, dont buy anything from Dell India. They have the worst customer service. They are only good at irritating and frustrating the customer so that we forgets complaining.

They shipped me a Damaged product and when i complaint to them, they argued with me that system is perfect without seeing it physically. I am placed in Mumbai and their customer service department is in Bangalore. I would say that they are simply idiots and dont know what they talk.

Be careful while buying. Its been 3 months and i am still fighting with them. Running to consumer courts.

Regards,

Very true. I am undergoing same fate. Dell India is horrible, indifferent people. Good only till the time sales is achieved.

I have received wrong delievery. What tehy showed on website and what is delieevred is differnt. I have sufferd loss on that besides additional cost on phone calls and followup which leave you even more frustrated.

I am willing to book it as loss and donate my laptop tp Dell India at my cost. I hope i get rid of it soon.

    Thank you Dell never ever.

YES!! DELL INDIA IS HORRIBLE!!! It is almost one month i ordrd for a laptop. After 10 days of my order, i cntctd to the sales person to ask about the reason for delay. and he suggested me to change my color option to Black ( I was ordered for Gray) for fast delivery. and I did. but online order status shows it will take more than 4 weeks to delivery. again i contacted the sales person. and he is saying he is not responsible for this problem, and told me to contact customercare.
I contacted them by mail arnd 6 times. atlast i got a mail. and that is not even gve clarification for my questions.

and in online order status, 'bluetooth headset is missing'!!
I ve paid for that also. (around Rs.3000/-)
I ve sent 2-3 mails to them about asking this and they are not yet replayed.!!
If anyone is planning to buy Dell products online, I'm suggesting, you must rethink! You may go to any retailer in your city. that will be better.
If you have lots of money and time to spoil, just go to Dell India Online Store.

The technical support is third rated at Dell. Please do not buy Dell or your money is gone. The guys are doing student ship there, who don't know anything about computers and electronics. I have my Studio Backlit tosted one month back and they don't have interest to sort out the issue.

My 22" monitor stopped workinig within 11months of purchase: After several calls to the most ridiculous Customer care number which keeps tossing you around like a yo-yo, I finally managed to get my complaint registered & was assured that I shall get a replacement within 48hrs. I haven't heard from Dell since the past 5 days!!!

Don't get carried away by their name.  Seems like DELL India is just taking advantage of lax Indian laws, where they feel they can get away with poor service.  If this does not get resolved within 10 days, I shall have no option but to take take them to Consumer Court.

I have Purchased a Dell laptop of XPS 1530 model. In the begining it worked properly... After the expiration of the warranty period the laptop battery has been gone and its not working... it shows there is no battery found eventhough there is a battery... if i contact the customer care means they are simply telling that your warranty period has been expired and so you have to buy a new battery only... When i asked the price of the new battery they told its 6000... see how they are trying to cheat the peoples... I just want to ask only one question that are you people manufacturing the products that'll be working properly during the warranty period only?????? Is this good for a reputed company?????? Waste... I am not the one and only person who is having this problem but one of my friend also having the same problem in his battery... He also have the same model of laptop which am having... After this many of my friends asked about the brands to buy laptops.... i simply replied that u can buy any laptops except dell....

I bought a Dell computer. When I tried to register it I was informed that I could not register it or recieve any type of support until the store (Walmart) sent Dell some information. I can't remember what it was. Finally (I don't remember how) I managed  to get them to honor the warranty. To my knowledge Walmart never did send them what they had to have. When the orginal warranty expired I bought an extended service contract. It too expired and on june 21, 2010, I bought another extended service contract for $110.00. I have a record of it and can prove it. When I call Dell for tech support, they claim there is no record at all of my purchase. I have tried innumerable times to get this cleared up but Dell simply will not do it. I've spoken to Customer Care many times but nothing happens. Today I called Dell Sales and Service. I spoke to a girl who I could not understand and explained the situation. I told her I had a record of my purchase and I wanted the situation resolved. For some unexplainable reason she transferred my call to tech support. The problem is with tech support in the first place. Tech support ended up by hanging up on me. This happens frquently. I tried to find an actual Dell representative to whom I could explain my problem. As far as I know there is no one like that If you want to communicate with Dell, you are going to have to talk to someone in India. I don't like jobs to be sent overseas but could probably live with it if only I could understand them. They speak english but have such strong accents that it sounds like a different language. Also they use colloquialisms (idioms) that mean something different to Americans than what the Indians mean to say. By now I have pretty much given up on getting what I paid for. As far as I can tell there is not even anyone to sue. Also, as far as I'm concerned, Dell is not an American company, It is an Indian company. Dell has lost a customer. I will never again buy a Dell product. I cannot be the only person who's had this type of problem. I'd like to see a movement to boycott Dell until they shape up.

I bought 4 Ink Cartridges 2 coloured 2 black. The First 2 printed ok! But when i opened the next 2 from the foil container and inserted in the Printed they had dried out.  Also these had no tape on the cartridges. When i asked would they replace these 2 cartridges they gave me the Runaround. I paid $60 which is only a small amount for them. However its the principal of the Matter. There customer service is very bad. So i will say farewell to Dell

I have a del Studio 1555. As usual the product was working fine till one year. After that the issues have started and I had bought an extended warranty for two years for around 18000 INR. One night (2-3 days back) I kept the laptop on charging and went to sleep. When I woke up I found that the charger has blown up and the LCD of the Laptop has also developed a crack. I called the tech support immediately and it took me 1 hour to explain the issue. Finally they dispatched the parts for replacement.  To My surprise the parts came on time but the real issue started from there. The Onsite engineer refused to replace the parts as it had internal damage. It seems their warranty covers non functioning hardware but it should not have a damage. My question to all is , how can we aasure that our laptop stops working but there should not be a damage to the part. Dell has all possible ways to sell warrnaties and work arounds for not giving the benefits to customers. They are the biggest cheats I have ever seen and I have started telling friends and family members to stay away from any dell products. They send refurbished parts and when they blow up then will cover only non functioning but not damaged parts in the warranty.
Dell machines are not safe and it poses a huge risk. I have myself experienced a case of blowing of dell battery charger(adapter) and LCD. I am lucky that my house did not catch fire and no one in my family including my two year old daughter has got injured.
My strong advice and request to spread this message "Dell is a dangerous hell.. stay away from it"

Thanks for Registering the compliant, and generating the No.
Regrettably the Invoice and the System Tag of the lap top is not available and will be sent only when my daughter reaches Blore.
It is also ironic that an institution like Del is unable to trace the purchase made through their dealers based on the CN no. that is endorsed behind their products.
The Adaptor bears No CN/OYD/637/72438/OC8/74E and the Scan copy will only be provided post
her current assignment at the IISc Blore

I broke my screen 2 weeks ago. The customer support promises that a technical engineer will call me in 48 hours to fix my laptop but this never happens. The process has been repeated 4 times but no one calls up. I am stuck in this loop with a broken screen and have no idea whom to complain. Never buying a dell laptop or recommending it to someone.
