Hi,

I have an Airtel broadband connection since last 3 years. Recently I converted my Internet into Wifi and for that I purchased Router from Airtel of Rs 1500 including 1 yrs warranty. After 2 months the router is not working and my Internet is dead without it.

I'm logging complaint since last week to Airtel customer care and generate around 10 complaints. But every time executive visit says you router is faulty , you need to take it to service center. Once it's fixed called us and we'll fix the Internet or purchase a new router. I told then I'm just bought it 2 months ago and it's in warranty period but they said  you need to take to service center, our policy changed. WTF, while selling router they said we'll take care of all complaint till 1 yrs and now saying we can't.

They I called customer care help line and tell them I want to cancel this connection due to bad service. Then suddenly they try to manipulate me please don't cancel connection and their superior talked to me and said don't worry we'll take care of it  and your problem will solved tomorrow. I waited but executive say same thing you need to take to service center. I again called customer service and same thing happened , another superior talked me and said tomorrow your problem will solve, I promised. I gave them one more chance.


Next day another executive came , look the router and noted down its  serial number. then he said right now I don't have any modem to give you. It's out of stock and lots of other people are also in queue to replace it. Then I asked how much time it'll take and he doesn't know may be 1 or 2 months or 6 months. It means I'm out of Internet at home for 2-6 months ;(

This is the service which is Airtel providing to customer. It's going worst day by day in services. If any Airtel Authority is reading this please take some action otherwise you will loose your long term customers and become the worst Internet provider soon.

I'll definitely cancel this connection and will not pay any bill.
