Very aggressive message left multiple times. When I called explain it was a threatening message and they have the wrong person. They refuse to except my answer.

    It's a shakedown scam..
    "Aggressive" debt collection is used by the lowest of the low.  It usually shows up connected to suspicious, even fake, "debt", with debt collectors that are willing to blatantly violate the law (FDCPA).  You could sue them, even if you are not the alleged "debtor" (who probably doesn' t owe the "debt" either), just for the FDCPA violations for harassment and abusive collection.

    File complaints with FTC, your state AG, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.  Log their calls, with date, time, and details of threatening or deceptive statements, and if the harassment continues, contact your state AG for assistance.

    I never took out a payday loan and they call all the time

    These people have been harassing my wife and children for years over some scam payday loan. They turn up from time to time calling family and employers. Refuse to send documentation as this would be mail fraud. There current boiler number is 8777758414 call and harass them.
