Poor Customer Service/Shipping

I placed and order for items with Miles Kimball a month before Christmas.  Many of the items I ordered were for Christmas presents.  A week and a half before Christmas I called customer service to find out the status of this order.  At that time I was told that the items were still not packed up int he warehouse.  They then upped the shipping on my order and said that my items would be shipped right away.  I received my incomplete order 2 days before I needed 5 of the items I purchased as gifts for my bosses at work.  Surprise surprise - those 5 items were not included in the shipment.  They shipped those items seperately via the US postal service and no, I will not have them in time to give as the gifts they were intended to be.  Nothing cutomer service can do when called.  If you email they send a response that they will email you in 3 days.  So here it is less than 2 days from the time I needed these 5 gifts and have nothing.  So now I am on my way out to shop late tonight after a long day of work and after 2 doctor's appointments.
I do alot of internet shopping and will never order from this company again...not when I can place an order 3 days ago from another company and have my order already on it's way with an expected delivery date of tomorrow at regular shipping costs no express!!!!!!

    I have no complaint as far as the fast service is concerned.  However, I ordered a kegel exerciser, customer number 0119003572, and did not receive the 9-page booklet as advertised in the catalog.  Your help to receive this booklet will be much appreciated.

      Dont post your customer number on a forum. If you call customer service they should be able to get you the booklet for free, or if its more convenient get you a digital copy

    I order a number of plants from over 2 months ago.  They have shipped a few here and there and charged me in full. I've contacted them 3 times and and am still awaiting a real response.  I have contacted my credit card company and also the BBB.  They do some real shady business!

      We dont charge until items are shipped, if you use a debit card the full amt will be charged initially to ensure funds are there but will be taken off within 72 buisness hours. I would suggest calling customer service to see what all was actually ordered, and what shipped. Insider secret - customer service agents have a lot of power, and we can choose how we handle the majority of customer service calls. The nicer you are to us, the more we will do for you.

      I ordereedthe fabricedged envelopes   I assumed they were regular size but when I got them they won't even my legal size file cabnet  I ordered them from your email special sale but nowhwere did it indicate that they were this big
      now if I have to send them back it will cost me extra postage now it will no longer be a sale will it ?
      i HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SATISFIED WITH ITEMS FROM YOUR COMPANY CATALOG
      BUT NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS ORDER
      so this makes me very leary of ordering from your websiteever again
      looking at some of other complaints it looks like you guys have really screwwd upalso did you ever answer these complaints

    I was told to contact you at Customer care@Free shipping.com to claim my Free Shipping.com rebate for my order (Order Number: SO052127940 - Customer Account 0147748610.  My order was placed on l2/05/20ll and I received it on 12/15/2011.  Please help to refund the shipping that I am entitled to.

      This is an outside offer from freeshipping.com As i dont work for them i believe it is in a rebate format, and is not connected to mkc in anyway, you must contact them.

    After I receive this order, I will no longer order from Miles Kimball.  It is enough to pay a $4.99 postage charge (which I expected), but when did you start charging a $1.99 processing charge?  That really takes it over the top on a $17.48 order!  Marion Tillis

    Miles Kimbal, sells me a below par shoe stretcher and will not credit me for the original shipping and the return shipping...
    They sold me REAL JUNK!
