Maytag scheduled service for my wash machine through A&E. They sent a technician who wasn't sure what he was doing. He cleaned the water inlet valve, but said it COULD be a problem with the timer, but he wasn't sure. I paid $129.00 for a service call that did nothing. My washer is still turning off repeatedly and won't complete a cycle. I called A&E and asked for the technician to call me back. He did not. The people who answered the phone at A&E were also clueless, and unable to answer my questions. Finally, they transferred me to the "Escalations Dept," where i finally got a straight answer--corporate policy REQUIRES up front payment for parts!!! Wow. They expected me to pay for a part that their technician was not sure was going to fix my machine!!! I don't think so. $129.00 was already too much to waste on this sad company. I will do no further business with them.

    A&E is a joke. Their are rude and the techs know virtually nothing. They never call you to say when they might be coming. In fact, I was told by a "supervisor" that they are under no obligation to call you, EVER. So you get a day for service and are supposed to stay home the whole day hoping someone shows up. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't

    When they do show up they never have the right parts or can't fix the problem. I had one tech stand in front of my Haier washer and tell me that it was "a piece of [***]...like all Haier products". It's hard to believe right?

    The extended warranty company employing these idiots is RepairMaster in Texas. When i told them about my problems I was told that by RepairMaster that A & E was the only contracted repair service in my area. I was told I could call someone else, pay for the estimate and then pay them again to come back and fix it. With those bills in hand RepairMaster would then decide if they would cover even a dime of the work. Really?

    I would think Haier would stand-up and unplug from this duo of sleaze bags, but they won't help.

    So PLEASE DON'T BY A HAIER PRODUCT. IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG WITH IT YOU ARE ALONE, IN THE DESERT, WITH NO WATER AND NO COMPASS.
