I purchased my dryer through Lowe's, they recommended A & E to service my dryer.  A service man was scheduled to come to my home between 8AM & 5PM on 12/16/09. 2PM that day I called to make sure I was on the schedule because I hadn't heard from anyone.  I was reassured I was on the schedule & again told a servie man would arrive between 8AM & 5PM and will call prior to his arrival.  I also confirmed my phone number at that time.  5:30PM no phone call and no service man.  I called A & E and they told me they will contact the service man.  5:50PM I received a call from A & E stating they needed to reschedule my apt. b/c the service man will not be able to make it today.  I asked if I could be the first one on the schedule the next day so I didn't have to miss another full day of work.  No accomodations were made to rectify the situaion after speaking with two supervisors.  So, I had to take another day off from work to sit here between 8AM & 5PM with hopes the service man would show up this time.  You call this service!

    I PURCHASED WHIRLPOOL CABRIO DEC.2010 (DRYER).  TWICE HAD TO BE REPAIRED RIGHT AFTER WARR.EXPIRED.  I AM TOLD NOW THAT DRYER IS FIRE HAZARD AND NOT TO USE.  REPAIRMAN CKING WITH DEALER.  VERY HAPPY WITH LOCAL REPAIR SERVICE BUT I WILL NEVER PURCHASE WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCES AGAIN
