Lied about "unlimited" minutes

I called Rogers because our regular phone was cancelled for a move.  I needed something that was "unlimited" in North America.  They sold us, for $35 a month and "Unlimted North America" plan.  I asked three times to make sure there would be no overages or anything like that.  They assured me there wouldn't be.  Apparently, they neglected to mention the minutes are still not unlimited.  It was a flat out lie.  The smug little supervisor I spoke to refused to help.  Hands down, the slimiest company I've ever dealt with.

    Hello Daniel,

Not sure why you would not have been informed that it would be using your plans minutes.  With Cell phones unless you have an unlimited plan for local calling all long distance add ons would take away from your minutes.

Full details of the add on are available here: http://www.rogers.com/web/Rogers.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=AppsAddons  under the Long Distance heading.

The $35 North American lists the following:
    "$35 North American Unlimited
Get unlimited calling to anywhere in Canada and the U.S.
    *Airtime not included*
Long distance charges are rounded up to the next full minute. Plan apply to calls originating in Canada on the Rogers wireless network and terminating in Canada or the U.S. (calls to Puerto Rico and Mexico are not included). Not applicable while roaming. Airtime is charged in addition to long distance rate."

I hope this helps to clarify,

    Thanks,
