Misleading RIP-OFF

I rented a car through Hotwire on line. They charged my card for the price of the rental and stated when I picked up the car I would need a credit card for the $200 deposit. I went to the airport to pick up the car, and now it's $350 for a deposit plus fees! I called Hotwire to ask what happened to the original deposit amount. I was very rudely told that it was my fault for not expecting a higher deposit! What?!? Hotwire then said they if I didn't like the prices with them, that I should just go somewhere else. Ok. So, I said I would do just that. I kindly asked for a refund of my money since I had not even looked at the car, much less driven it. She said no! And that in 7-10 days they would process the refund and then send it to the credit card company to be processed there. So, I'm looking at over 2 weeks to get my money back for a car I never rented and no compensation at all for not only the extremely rude lady, but the wasted 3 hours and missing my shift at work, out of town. Bottom line- Hotwire is a rude, money grubbing bunch of theives!!! Save yourself the aggrevation and go somewhere else!!
