Vacuum sucks

The main complaint about the Dirt Devil I had was that the belt breaks whenever I run over something, THEN you have to get a screw driver to open it, then it is hard to put on.   A person I clean  bought one about 2 years ago.  Bagless and I can't remember the name of it.  I can tell it was designed by a man.  The cord comes out at the bottom where you run over it all the time and have to hold it up.  It is heavy and hard to maneuver, The hose is too heavy and I hate the handle to pull it out with.  Why in the world don't these men who design the cleaners let a woman use it a few times and let her tell them what is wrong with it?  They don't have a clue.
