I received several unsolicited texts saying I qualified for a $200.00 Gas Card usable anywhere for a fee of $2.95 off of my credit card.  I said I didn't have $2.95 and the salesperson, said she would accept a $1.00, then.  Also, I had to call three times because on my first call, (all three were answered by, what sounded like, Asian Indian accents) I asked the young man who had asked for my first and last name, before I gave him my full name, to tell me what the deal was all about, and he hung up on me. On my second call, same accent, I asked the agent what her name was and she told me Nicole Smith, and I told her, Ma'am, with your accent that totally sounds like a fake name, and she hung up on me. On my third call, I let the call go past the fake name and didn't ask what it was about, but I inquired about me wanting the web address after I finally got the name of the company which was "Central Rewards".  While I had her on the phone, I looked up www.CentralRewards.com on my computer and got back info that it was a scam about getting a $200.00 gas card for $2.95.  I kept pressing her and pressing her for a web address and she kept trying to get around my question and then she said twice that she'd get a supervisor.  Once she pretended to be the supervisor until I told her that I knew it was her and then she put me on hold and came back and said the supervisor said she had given me the name of the company and told me why I was chosen (had shopped well with their selected companies)and therefore I had been given enough information and was not going to be given the web address.  I told her, "Wait, here it is. I found your web address. Let's see what it says."  I read her the entire complaint explaining the offer and ending with the words explaining that it was a scam and then she said she was sorry I felt that way and we both mutually said goodbye and hung up.  I believe it was a scam with all of my instincts and also with the two hangups and with her refusing to give me a website and just the sheer fact that you never get something for nothing.  Hopefully this gets posted with the same scam I found when I looked up "www.centralrewards.com
