Received  a letter today 3/29/12 from ACA Recovery, Inc. stating that I had been turned over to them to collect $774.95 for Local US Pages and that I was recorded agreeing to this. Need to contact Mr. Cutler. They also stated that bills were sent to the business with my name on them.  I have never received any letters or bills from local us pages or ACA.  Then tried to look up to see if this advertising thing was actually on the internet and can't find it either. Then I find all these complaints about ACA Recovery and the Local US Pages..so I am not paying this bill. Will wait to see if I receive anymore letters or phone calls.

They are a scam debt collector working for a fraudulent "busines directory" telemarketer.

Note how they claim some alleged bills were sent earlier, yet never received?
They try to bypass originally billing through the U.S. Mail to evade mail fraud charges.  They either harass by phone, send a bill by FAX, or have ACA send a fraudulent collection letter.
This type of scam also doctors phone recordings, so do not believe whatever recording they claim they have of you "authorizing" their fake charges.

File fraud complaints against both ""Local US Pages" and ACA Recovery.
File complaints with FTC, your state Attorney General, the New Jersey Attorney General, and at www.ic3.gov
File a mail fraud complaint against ACA Recovery with the U.S. Postal Inspector, for sending a fraudulent invoice through the U.S. Mail.
