I received a call from someone with an accent telling me that there has been a warrant issued for my arrest and gave me a case number.  Stating that he did not know what it was for just calling to inform me.  I called the number he gave me 813-321-5335 gave them the case number and was told that I owe money to cash advance and the warrant was issued for non payment. I was shocked at first, then he asked what I wanted to do, have my lawyer contact them or pay a fee to investigate.  At that moment I said, "I know this is not real and you are trying to scam me."  I hung up immediately.  I have never been in a cash advance place in my life.  I called to discuss with my personal banker and she said that she received the same kind of call yesterday.

I recently got a e-mail from a person saying  they we're a collection agency that cash advance america had hired to get money for a loan that i recieved from them.I truly don't remember ever getting a loan from this company. I became suspicious when they told me i had to pay using a itunes voucher. who does that? sorry not me. Of course it scared me as he said someone would be at my door with a arrest warrant if i didn't pay.
