Received a call regarding a debt from Cash Advance America. I NEVER received a loan from these folks. Must find a way to report them. The caller ID came up as 421-781-8274. I was firm in saying I wanted proof. They hung up. I tried to call them back and the number did not work.

The name is typical of fake "payday loan debt collectors" operating from India.
The number actually shows up with complaints going back to 2010, which is odd for this type of scam.

Possible explanation:
"I think it's a Native American company from a Native American sovereign nation, which is surrounded by Canadian territory, using their area code for forwarding calls from an Indian as in India call center.
