Called my parents house, I haven't lived at for 17 years, and threatened to contact my employer and financial institutions. I called back, a different name than who called me answered by voicemail and the box was full. They also used my maiden name from 15 years ago. I don't owe anything. Scam! Harassment!

    It's a shakedown scam..
They have lots of similar complaints reporting attempts to collect fake "debt".
The pattern is typical of such scams, calling relatives to create panic, using "information" obtained through skip-tracing databases to fabricate what they think are plausible "details" for the "loan", and making threats rather than providing documents to prove the alleged debt is owed.

Here it is 2018 and these scammers have resurfaced. I just received a voicemail from a Philip Norman from ARG threatening the usual (attempting to serve me, etc.) The phone number on caller ID was 877-220-1743. The only debt my husband and I have is car loans, which are kept current. This is a scam.

Received a call back in October about an unpaid debt. The collection agency claimed to be Apex Management, claimed I owed them money and could only pay by debit or a pre paid card. I believe they try to confuse people with Apex Asset Management, Apex site management, Apex financial management. They are not associated at all with the 3 legitimate collection agencies. The scammers couldn't provide me with a website, a validation notice a address to send a money order. The number they called from is 262-457-6182. Called numerous times trying to get legitimate info on this so called debt and spoke to 3 different individuals. Javod Woody, Barbara unknown last name, Joseph also unknown last name. When I confronted them about scamming they got upset and hung up on me.
Pathetic people! I just wanted to give anyone an FYI that may have received a call from these losers.

Voice mail from a woman stating the last 4 of my ssn. Then threating to visit me at my home for some signature.  Then at end of voicemail states to contact the number 262-457-6182 to stop this service. You have been notified. I tried calling, kept just disconnecting. So this is a scam....How do they have my last 4 of ssn?
