These jack wads have been calling my HOME, no business here, several times a day for some time now with a pre-recorded message trying to sell me a credit card service to take CC's. I phoned back to "opt out" of their spam calls and get a phone company recording that the number is disconneted and no longer in service. How these jerks manage to use disconnected numbers to place spam calls is beyond me but it speaks VOLUMES of our so called national security.
If a spam telemarketer can do this then anyone can.
Beware of this number:

Numerous complaints of robocalls "to switch your electric service".

File Do Not Call complaints with FTC.
They have actually sued and shut down several of these, including one "lower your interest rate" scam using out of country robodialers.

For months now I have received calls from them. They are located in Florida in the area of the Space Center. They offer press 1 to opt out. I have spoken to them several times. One of their clerks stated that by pressing 1 they just call you more. When speaking to them they claim they will remove again, but they do not remove. Help!
    Thanks

This number calls numbers on the national do not call registry (which is illegal) with an automated recorded message and no operator on the line (which is also illegal). The recording says that they are a highly respected (no, they make unsolicited calls) credit card processing firms that guarantees deposit the next day (how can you trust them, they make unsolicited calls and violate the law in doing so). When you press 1 for an operator, there is nobody available, and you get turned over to an answering machine. This is definitely a scam - and even if it isn't they're operating illegally, what would possibly make you think they would start operating legally once they have your money?
