This appears to be connected with either or both a magazine and/or possibly some "discount club" scam. It is not clear from your complaint which you are dealing with, but either way, you may wish to act proactively to protect your accounts from fraudulent charges.
If indications are that you have been signed up for some "discount membership" for which you have received some "information packet", that you never agreed to, then you need to act promptly to block access to your checking account or credit card. An unexpected "information packet" is often the first sign (other than an unexpected small charge) that this type of scammer has your account information, and is trying to create the appearance that you have agreed to their charges.
This type of scam often involves slimey merchants who pass on your billing information to some "loyalty" or "membership club" scam, using deceptive advertising to get you to click some box that they claim authorizes charging you, or giving some scripted pitch of a "free trial" offer as part of handling a phoned in order.
Check with your bank to see if some questionable charge has shown up, typically in the range of $10 to maybe $50 or a little more. These charges are often in the $20 range to slip by people who may not check their statements closely enough to catch them.
You will need to dispute the fraudulent charge with your bank, and close the account due to fraud to prevent additional fraudulent charges under this or other names, as these scams often set up small monthly automatic charges. It is NOT enough to try to block charges under the name they first appear, as this type of scammer often uses multiple names, and often claims there is some authorization for charging under several of them.
The Senate Commerce Committee has been conducting hearings investigating this type of consumer scam.
If indications are that you have been signed up for some magazine you never agreed to:
If you did not order some merchandise, but they send it to you without your agreement to pay for it, then under U.S. Postal regulations, it is your property to do with as you see fit.
If they send you a bill for merchandise you did not order, that bill is "unmailable matter", illegal to send through the U.S. Mail, and demanding payment through such a bill is mail fraud.
Mailing what is claimed to be a "solicitation" or offer, that appears to be a bill and is not marked clearly to indicate it is only an offer, is deceptive advertising and similarly prohibited by postal regulations.
This covers the scammers who send out a bill, violating mail fraud laws, then claim as a defense that "it was just an offer". Postal regulations even call out how it must be marked to ensure it is CLEARLY indicated that it is only an offer and that the receiver has no obligation to pay it.
Since there are "magazine subscription" scammers that operating by trying to create the appearance of "agreements" by consumers as part of their scams, it is best to file a complaint with the U.S. Postal Inspector for all unordered merchandise pre-emptively.
Those who carry out these scams don't just do it to one person, they do it to a bunch of people attempting to con them out of substantial amounts of money, typically hundreds of dollars.

Hydroxatone are business partners with Easy Saver and American Leisure. When you order Hydroxatone, they want to "reward you" with a trial of Easy Saver and American Leisure. I did not agree to trial either of these but yet Easy Saver and American Leisure still billed my account with information that I gave to Hydroxatone. Furthermore, they said they sent me a welcome package. I can assure you that I did not recieve anything from Easy Saver or American Leisure. The time, effort, and money that I lost dealing with Easy Saver and American Leisure would have been better spent on a higher quality product than Hydroxatone. Protect yourself by not doing business with Hydroxatone.

I'm embarrassed to say American Leisure and Easy Saver have withdrawn $71.70 from my account since May 2010. I did order Hydroxatone but did not agree, order, authorize or invite this company to use my card for anything else. I'm determined to get my money back but I can't say enough to those of you who are tempted to order things from TV ads--BEWARE!!!!!!!

I called the company up to recieve some information. The rep answeres some questions and tried to get me to try out the trial period. I gave the rep my cc # and was about to say ok send it to me but during verification something did not feel right. I told the rep that I am not authorizing this transaction and to please not send me anything. The next day a rep called and said that he saw that I called up and was interested in the product but did not consent to have it processed. He tried to pursuade me and I refused and told him not to send me anything, that I am not authorizing the transaction and do not want it. The 3rd day a lady calls( and I am getting pissed)I got angry and told her the same thing I told the other reps" that I did not authorize anything to be charged on my cc and I do not want the product. Do not send me anything and put me on your do not call list. Well guess what? The company used my cc and charged me $7.95 for shipping that I did not authorize. I am going to do everything in my power to bring these people to justice. Class action lawsuit here we go.

I just found out I got scammed since April 2010 for a total of $377.40. This is for American Leisure and Easy Saver. I cancelled my Hydroxytone after receiving the inital supply and I NEVER agreed to anything else. Also, I just found out the InfoFreeCreditRepoinfoFCR.com has taken over $250.00 since November. I didn't even have a computer then!!!!
I contacted my bank today to see if I can get my money back. I called the worms at American Leisure, and they insisted I had signed up for this. Anyone who knows what else I can do or have problems with the other company.
Thanks.

Same here with American Leisure, a couple calls so far, blistered their ears, will go to US Attorney General office if necessary. Anyone going for a class action lawsuit to stop these companies being able to do business like this, I really want to hear from you. I'll check here for messages.
