I just received an e-mail threatening me with legal action and stating that i will be arrested - if i do not pay $864.00.  I have no idea how they got my social security number of my e-mail address but i absolutely do not owe this money. They also threaten to notify my employer if i do not pay this amount immediatley.

    I received the same email from the same person, with all my information. I know it's a lie cause I have never had a bank account

    I got the same email. I sent them a debt verification letter which they have to provide. If they're a legit debt collector they'd have no problem in doing so. Debt collectors HAVE to contact you via mail not email first. No debt collections can be initiated over the phone or email. So Attorney Norris would be a scam artist.
