This is the caller ID name (Starnet Paete) called saying they were with Apple. I hung up as soon as the automated woman’s voice started touting her BS.
Trying RoboKiller but don’t think it will help because they use local numbers Mine being 845 area code. But RoboKiller app has interceded on several calls. How somebody gets on there scam list I would love to know?

These guys were call a lot several years ago but then dried up. Still can't figure what they are selling or pushing. Trips, give-a-ways, collections, and recently medical alert bracelets. Many different tel numbers and all of it junk!
I heard the best VM message for callers and now I have it on my phones. "if I don't recognize the number, I will NOT answer the call. if you don't leave a message, I won't call you back." TAKE ME OFF YOUR CALL LIST. Sometimes if I do answer, I say, "you will receive a call from the FTC as your number has been forwarded." They usually hang up immediately.

Any time you see the name "STARNETPAETE" on your caller id, you know its a scam. Block this caller by name if you can.

Thanks to all who posted here advising Starnet as a scam. They have recently begun calling my number at least once a day - no message ever left. The phone they are using in my area is 704-815-0757.

they just called me but i didn't answer as i don't know a starnet. Decided to google them and found they are a scam then called the number back to see what they would say and they said they are with a career finder so i just hung up. Hoping they call back so i can see if they say something diff. For those who said they called back even after blocking them, did it still show up as starnet?

Received a call on 5-17-19 from 706-749-1348 Starnetpaete left an automated message stating they had received a payment of $299.00 for computer service. We do not have computer service with anyone.

Get these calls too. Simple solution. Our only land line is tucked away in a corner. We never answer it. We also have a very long greeting message so that if it's a robocall, the greeting message is so long that you don't get the tail end of a robocall on voice mail. In 3 years, not one message left on that lne.

I get calls at all times of the day from 901 316-0472. They never leave a message and when you call it back nothing. Sick of scammers

This clown-who has called many times under different numbers,this time a 603.292.0981,is doing a "badge scam" .They are con men acting like they run a State Trooper donation program. Do not give them one nickel con men.

Got my first call from starnet today. I don't answer calls if I don't recognize the number or name. If no message is left it let's me know it wasn't important. Sometimes it isn't important if a message is left. I thought a law was passed to stop this from happening. Why is it taking so long to go into effect?
