The people at Canadia Pharmacy calll all times of the day trying to get me to buy their products. I have told them time and time again to leave me alone and they keep calling. Is there some kind of legal action that can be taken against them. They are driving me crazy!! sometimes they don't even say anything. They just hold the phone. Make them STOP

    With abusive phone scammers, about the only way to get them to stop is either to change your number, or harass them back until they stop calling.  

    Their goal is to steal money through deceptive telemarketing, and they are looking for suckers who they can pressure into disclosing a credit card or bank account number.

      They are probably not even in "Canada".
      It just sounds more credible that "Indian Pharmacy" or "Pakistani Pharmacy".
      Any thick accents?

    I too have been getting calls for over a year.  Initially the caller ID was from a Commercial Real Estate firm  (Indian owned) in Boston.  I talked to owners of the RE company and they said they had no knowleged their number was being used by the Canadian Online Pharmacy. No call for over 6 month the in June calls from a Boston number, then later from Newark NJ number and most recently from Georgia number.  When you call these people back and tell them you want to be taken off the call list they simply hang up on you.

    Is there a way to nail these guys and put them out of business????

    I'm going to try to get them to change my number. The new number could be anything with another company's answering machine, another pharmacy company or the FTC's headquarters and so on. Just gotta find a non-800 number.
    If they wont change my number, I could start prank calling, calling with a new number through Skype and playing back all kinds of junk and repeatedly call them. Thats just some ideas, we need more. I've reported it to the FTC too.
