While recently in Germany:

1. We discovered that the windshield wiper blade on the passenger side of our rental car had been stolen (removed).
2. I immediately called Europcar via your toll free number in Germany, and was told to get the wiper blade replaced and that the charge would be removed from our rental charges.
3. Our landlord in Koblenz contacted the German auto club (I don't remember its name) and they came and replaced the item, with a charge of 22 Euros.
4. When we later returned the vehicle to the office in Ramstein and told them what had occurred, they insisted that an "accident report" should be completed, even though there had never been any accident.
5. We completed their paperwork, they gave us the 22 Euro credit, and we returned home believing the incident was over.
6, Now, we begin to receive less than polite email from your company demanding payment for an accident that never occurred, and damage to a car that never occurred.

I have had multiple email from this company demanding payment. They apparently do not read email that is sent with explanations. Even though we had rented from them many times in the past we will NEVER do so again, and I urge all US citizens to boycott this company. They are not trustworthy.
