I purchased an HDpowerwasher from Home depot and a couple of years later, I was having problems with a part and emailed them. You go to their website and can 'chat' with someone after hours. I am not able to contact them in this method during business so they adv we can leave a message via a form. I did this and got this response:

From: Support Group <support@fna-group.com>

the gun leaks profusely. How can I fix it. If I buy a replacement, how much is
shipping?

I waited patiently, no response after 8 days so I emailed again:

my husband was given an h90 1300psi peak pressure powerwasher as a gift. He was attempting to use it, but the hose in the inside of the trigger seems to leak and he is unable to use it. What can be done? Can he purchase the damadged piece if so how? where? and how much would it cost?

I have a Husky 1550 Powerwasher that is 11 months old.  Has been used about 6 or 7 times. Will not pump and is leaking a yellow oily subatance.  I have been trying since 8 May to return for repair. Have only talked to a "live body" twice. Wait time always in excess of 30 minutes for phone or on-line chat.  To date I am STILL waiting for a UPS Return Label to send the unit back for repair.  This is the worst customer servuie I have ever seen for any product.  It is causing me to reconsider shoping at Home Depot ever again or every buying an FMA Product.

    Buyers BEWARE.

    Subject: Husky/Home Depot Powerwasher online

Last year my 1550 husky powerwasher would loose pressure.

    This year it leaked water.

I called for assistance and tried to describe the part I needed.

I was told a part would be sent, but was given no confirmation information.

A week later I called to confirm the order.  It was never confirmed.

Over 2 weeks later I get the part.

I again have to call the help line because I can not get the plastic part out of the Micro Switch chamber (which is the part that was broken and leaking, there was nothing actually wrong with the Manifold.)  An hour later, you tell me that the Manifold should have the Microswitch attached.  All I recieved was the Manifold with no Microswitch attached.

I call again to state that the part as you are describing it is not what I got.

You send another one, and again it is not as you describe, again it is the Manifold with no Microswitch attached.

I also discover you can not get the plastic part out of the Micro Switch chamber without breaking the chamber.  (but that doesnt matter because according to you, you are sending a new one..... not)

After about 10 phone calls, (about 1/2 that went unanswered because during your time of 8 am - 6 pm CST you do not always answer the phone) and several hours of wasted time, I threw my broken powerwasher, in pieces, in a box and took it back to Home Depot and told them to remedy the problem.

I would like to thank Tony for trying to help, he was nice.

Overall you are clueless, and generally not helpful.  If you do not have the ability to help a frustrated customer, you are in the wrong career.  One guy commented, "not very mechanical are you", well [***], I got the thing apart and figured out what the problem was and for a middle aged female I would say, that classifies me as mechanical.  Also I did not realize that my one year warranty meant I had to repair it.

So thanks to you, I have wasted over a month just trying to get 1 stinking part for my under warranty power washer, only to receive the wrong parts and bad customer service.  Get a clue, not all customers are idiots.

I bought a Husky H2000 from Home Depot in April of 2009. I used it twice for a total of about 15 minutes, when the smoke started pouring out of the unit. I left a message on their live chat. A week went by with no contact. I was finally able to get someone on live chat. I was told I would receive a return label in 3-5 days and the unit would be repaired or replaced within 7-10 days. About 10 days later I received a UPS label. The unit sat in their shop from July 2 to July 28. When I received the unit back, the hose connection was missing and the hose reel and handle were missing. I have spent the better part of three hours trying to get someone to talk to me or answer an e-mail. This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If this product is indicative of the quality of products that Home Depot showcases, I feel sorry for their shareholders.

Hi I also have the H90, the instructions say the unit is supposed to shut off when the trigger is released, it doesn't and leaks like the other ones. after a few minutes of use it began to lose pressure. My guess is since it doesn't shut off when the trigger is released it may have blown out the o-rings. as with everyone else it's hard to get help from the manufacturer.any ideas?
