I placed an order with www.allmyfavoriteshows.com. They charged my credit card within 24 hours. Three weeks later I finally received my order. When I opened the box I discovered that half of my dvds were missing and one DVD was broken. I tried calling customer service 1-877-788-7469 like the web page says but could not get through.

I sent many emails to them but heard nothing back. BUYER BEWARE!

Unfortunately I did not research this company prior to ordering. When I searching internet for a solution to my problem, I found many people burned by this company.

It appears they operate under many names and often do not send any shipments at all. I feel special :)

If you type "1-877-7-TV-SHOW" in the search-engine box you will see for yourselve just how many different websites are displayed, all with the same number.

Here is a list of websites they manage and that need to be avoided:

DVDAvenue.tv
DVDCraze.tv,
TVDVDMania.tv,
TVDVDPlanet.com,
TVAddicts.tv,
TVonDisc.com,
Raredvds.tv
empiricalfilm.tv
internationalfilm.tv

Tvdvdplanet also trades on Ebay under these names: greyhare68 , *FLASHASH* , shoot.john , huntyoudown. They are being investigated by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

If you just place an order with them, cancel your credit card and dispute the charge with your bank.

I ordered the 41 DVDS in 7 Cases of the Mission Impossible in October 2006, it took 2 months to get my order, the day I received the DVDS they came in a really shorty envelope that was ripped and torn, I opened up the package, and 4 of the cases were cracked, I emailed them the next day and they promised me a prepaid envelope to mail them back in, and they promised me they would send me a new set of DVDS once they received my damaged ones, I paid $249.00 for the set plus almost $25.00 shipping and handling, for the past 9 months I emailed, and called for the promised returned envelope so I could send back the damaged ones, also they were not professional copies but copies taken off regular tv with commercials.

They finally sent me an email last month that they were crediting my credit card account the $249.00 minus the shipping and handling, unfortunately that was a lie. I'm totally disgusted with this company, what goes around comes around, I hope they get what they deserve if they ever get caught.

I had ordered the Nanny tv series which was 148 episodes 17 discs and they to ha took the money off my credit card fast and then I had rang them to find out when the order had been sent and they said monday, It arrived and the parcel was ripped and the cases were broken and some of the discs couldn't read on my dvd player cause they were vcd discs and not dvd discs, I had rung them and they said that they would replace the order for free but that was 2 months ago and I rang them back and they said that it was on its way, but I also noticed that it was very noisy when I rang like they were in a warehouse and I tried getting hold of them by email asking for my money back or I was going to the berau and they never answered me and it was a live chat so they just discounneted the line. My husband has said that the dvds are illegal cause they are duplicuates not orginginals, and I asked htey company about that but they would answer that question.

    ahh I was too late:'(
I should've read more before posting an order..
I ordered the full seasons of the Gummi Bears, and I got them, but disc #1 contained some other series...not Gummi Bears..ahwell..The dvd's are illegal copies too..that's the first thing I noticed when I opened the package, oh and the case was broken.
I took out the dvd's and there were loads of fingerprints on them..damn scumbags!!!!
I got ripped for over 90$, I mean, the international shipping cost me more than the dvd's themselves..argh SO annoyed
    Good thing you're warning others.
Next time I will be more aware.
    Thanks for posting!
Luckily I got my stuff I paid for though..almost:/

my husband ordered for me the entire series of roseanne.  i was amazed that the episodes were all recorded off of tv and most of the dvds froze towards the middle of an episode and would not rewind, go forward, anything. there were also several episodes missing. i have tried to call the number and it is invalid. no response yet on the customer service. what a rip!

I feel for all of you who ordered anything from Allmyfavoriteshows.com. After repeated efforts to call and contact them...after a month..nothing. fortunately my credit card company reimbursed me...and they are going after the merchant. LOL. If it sounds too good to be true, I had ordered Summerland and Wolf Lake, and no one else has it, don't order it. I will only do business from Amazon and their merchants from now on. I too, am complaining to everyone on any website I can . Lets all keep it up and make these scumbags accountable.

If you have placed orders with Allmyfavoriteshows.com or one of their alias'-cancel your credit card immediatelty and report the incident to your banking institution. They may be able to recover your money. They send burnt off copies to you ,not the expected originals. My 1st received order was a box set of broken cases and scratched burnt off DVDs. and the 2nd order has never arrived--total of money lost:USD$267.25. Money is debited from your a/c immediately on ordering. Queries about shipment are replied with a stock answer, " due to high demand your order is on back order."Email replies from them eventually cease.NOW THEY HAVE WHAT THEY WANTED- YOUR MONEY AND CREDIT CARD DETAILS!

Unfortunately, I too have been ripped off by AllMyFavorite Shows.com, aka TvAddicts.tv, aka DVDAvenue.tv, and whatever other aliases they are operating under.  They shipped me the wrong discs and they assured me they would replace them with the correct ones.    THAT WAS OVER 6 MONTHS AGO, and every-time I make contact with them I get an excuse, but I should not worry, I will get the replacements.  Yeah, right.   Lately the only answer I get from them to my emails is an auto-reply saying they'll contact me within 24 hrs.  They never do.

I had a couple of ideas that I thought would be great tools in helping to rid the internet of these maggots.  The first idea was to send all of my internet contacts a detailed account of how I was taken by these maggots. I explained to them that I hadn't known that you could check for complaints about a company and consequently I got screwed. I advised them to always check to see if there were any complaints about a company before ordering from them and I explained how to check.   I then asked them to forward all of their contacts a copy of of my email and ask them to forward the email to all of their contacts and so on and on.  If everyone did this, and if all who have been ripped-off took the same action, in a very short time, nearly everyone on the internet would be warned about new maggots who are ripping us off.

To my surprise, many of my contacts emailed me back that they had no idea that you could check out complaints about a company on-line!!!    That then gave me my second idea.

I thought that, if Google, Yahoo and the other internet providers would place a prominent advisory right on their desktops advising internet shoppers that they can check to see if a company has any complaints about them before they ordered, (and maybe even provide a search-bar right there in that warning box advising to just type in the name of the company they want checked), it could conceivably save many thousands of uninformed shoppers millions of dollars, AND would deal a major blow to these maggots who are ripping us off.

How many of you would have loved to have known about being able to check complains BEFORE you ordered and got screwed???

I have recently made this suggestion to both Google and Yahoo.  Hopefully they will see the merit in this suggestion.  It is my belief that they would be doing ignorant, uninformed shoppers such as I was, an invaluable service.  I know I wouldn't have got screwed out of my money.

If any of you wish any further information on what results I have received about this, you can email me at bandcqxx@comcast.net.

Placed order 12/7/07 with my all my favorite shows.com and the company received payment from my bank on 12/10 and I have made at least 10 calls to 877-788-7469 and numerous emails with no call backs from the company.  I wish I had researched more prior to submitting my order.  I will take your advise and ask my bank to stop payment if it's not too late.  I feel terriable that I was taken advantage of and my family members have no Christmas presents.  I will alert the media Seven on my side with Eye wWitness News to se3e if they can investigate this companny and get a refund for me.  I ordered Flamingo Road the series, The Associate and The First Season of Northern Exposure.

I just posted a complaint against this bogus company too. It is amazing how someone can continue to operate the way they do and steal money from  honest hardworking folks.  Today I did get a confirmation back from the office of The Canadian Government that investigates these type of scams. Not sure how long it will take but they should be put in jail.

dvdmagic is another scam company, offering something that seems too good to be true and of course is. I wasn't burned by them, just did some research before parting with any money. The internet is more than just a collection of cute pictures of animals and porn, there's a lot of information to be had, use it. And save your money.
