I have been receiving phone calls for another person for the past week.
I have had my phone number for thirty years, and I get the collection calls for people that I have or have not known in the past. On the caller I.D. it shows no name, no phone number. On Friday I actually got the name of the company TRS Recovery Services. The caller refused to get me a supervisor and promptly hung up the phone. The phone calls have not stopped. Now they just hang up when my voice comes on. I was able to get a phone number with a voice this morning and was told that my phone number will be submitted to a supervisor and should be taken off in 24 hours. We'll see. I will still be sending a follow up letter to TRS and to my state attorney generals office. I urge everyone that is having the same problem to follow thru with written letters. The phone number with a voice was 1-800-366-1049.

They are claiming to be a collection agency called Telecheck/TRS She speaks of Consumer Resolution, and people have no idea what she is talking about. She keeps some kind of statistics or 10 or 15 years on her computer and then thinks she can stop payments on people's checks. It's called extortion by a loone.

The woman's name is Joyce, and she won't give her last name, she just gives an employee number instead.
402-916-8147 is their legal department. The department of Justice thinks they are extortionist's or scam artists. Use an area code directory for that, and they'll get a location on her, or them.
