Chateau D'Ax & Macy's - Furniture and Service is Garbarge

We purchased a leather sofa bed made by Chateau D'Ax and sold by Macy's about 18 months ago. The sofa was expensive so we also purchased an additional warranty from Macy's. The sofa was kept in a room that we barely use and the bed was used ~6 times over the last 18 months.
After minimal use, the bed frame broke and so it will not close and fold back into the couch. We contacted Macy's who told us sorry, the manufacture warranties the frame for 3 years, but your issue was with the mechanism, which isn't under warranty. I then inquired about the expensive additional warranty we purchased from Macy's and they said that it didn't cover the frame, so we were out of luck.
I then asked Dario from Macy's - ID# 91020806 what we should do and he said, that I need to purchase the replacement parts on my own. When I asked him where I could purchase these parts, he told me he didn't know. So, now I am stuck with an expensive 18 month old couch that I'll have to throw away. I definitely do not recommend Chateau D'Ax or Macy's!
