Washing Machine Repair
Complaint

I have a Maytag Washer registered with this warrant service. My washer stopped working on May 9, 2013. I have since had 5 repair appointments to no avail. I still do not have a washing machine that works.
I called and had an appointment for 5/10 but the tech was sent to the wrong address. Another tech came on 5/13 and ordered parts. Another appointment was made for 5/21. This tech ordered more parts. Next appointment was for 5/24. This tech ordered more parts. This appointment was for 5/30. This tech ordered more parts. Really? Someone will return on 6/6. I have called every phone number available to me and have no help yet. Each person refers me to another as well as a supervisor, Wes, who tells me this is the way it is. I have called Maytag, 1-800-688-9900, your company, 1-866-368-6478, A&E, 1-800-905-9505. Nothing is happening.

No# 866 368-6478 and find that it might now be called Whirlpool Service? I called and got an appt. right away for repairman but had 3 no-shows by California Appliance 562 428-9977 in Los Angeles County until I called Whirlpool 866 368-6478 again and asked for a different tech to come to my house. They sent GGSL Service Repair 562 440-4551 who came out Oct. 10th 2014 and said I needed a new transmission and the Company (whirlpool) would have to approve for tranny OR cut a check for me to buy new washer. Since Oct. 13th I have been calling daily to the 866 368-6478 Whirlpool/Maytag number and the California appliance repair people GGSL. Whirlpool gave me 2 different stories in past 4 days. One was the approval for tranny was accepted by their Resolution Dept. and Yesterday they said they didn't have any resolution answer and I would have to call back next week, once again. The GGSL appliance repair people just don't answer anyone's call even from their boss Whirlpool. It has been 5 weeks with no wash machine. I need to get the address for Whirlpool/Maytag at number 866 368-6478 to be able to file my small claims suit. Am still researching but any help would be good. I cannot imagine EVER buying another warranty.
