I keep getting these robo calls from Directory Assistance (different state abbreviations).  At least one a day maybe 3-4.  Do I have to get to 50 before they stop?  Or does the count start over each day?  I am so irritated with these.  I am and have been on the do not call list for years but still get robo calls.  I never answer, but it's irritating.  Unfortunately my phone doesn't have blocking, but I do have answer machine.  None of these calls say anything.

    Dir. Assist robo calls from multiple states coming 3 or 4 times a day.  How do I get this stopped. I'm already enrolled in No Call Registry - does no good !!!!

    I'm getting these call.  I see the the other post are a year old.  I don't see solution when I google...

    I have the same problem as Martha - but having them 8 months later (Feb 2016).  Two or more calls a day; we have yet to pick one of them up.  But apparently there's no solution to getting the calls stopped (?)

    I just started getting these calls about a week ago, about 5 times a day. I have Xfinity Voice which will not allow me to add the directory numbers XXX-555-1212 to my call screening list. I am also on the Do Not Call list.  From what I have read elsewhere, these are probably spoofed numbers used by telemarketers.  Guess I just have to wait it out.

    All the same problems as everyone above, last night I answered the phone. First the delay, then I hear is this Diana? They had my name! Annoying!!! So I responded with "take me off your call list!" She hung up on me. Today same directory assistance call, but with a different number! Do not call registry is a joke!! This is harassment of the worst kind and they do nothing about it...

    It seems that every other day we are receiving a call for Directory Assist...last digits 0002, 0003, 0004, 0005. As soon as I block one number, they call from another.  I don't know why we bother keeping a home phone because, at this point, we rarely receive any legitimate phone calls.

    Add No More Robo Calls to your phone; at least, the phone will ring only once and then there is an automatic disconnect.

    I just got a phone # with the caller ID DIR ASSIST,  then my state Abbreviation afterward. This is the 1st I have had this call before. I blocked my cell phone # and tried calling it back but it just says "ALL LINES R BUSY"

    It called from a local area code, but when I research the # nothing comes up. I just ran across this page and a few others that have ppl complaining of the same thing.

    Directory assistance doesnt call people, (Not that I have ever known) IM 99% sure its a spoofed/scam/fake call

    prob some 3rd world trash with nothing better to do. They called at 7:10PM to my Landline.

      I have started to receive calls that say DIR ASST on my caller Id the number 6145550180, I called the do not call list and filed a Complaint< I suggest everyone do this with these annoying calls that never stop So MAYBE the DO NOT CALL LIST will do what it is suppose to do if everyone  starts calling every time you receive the repeat numbers, it may do no good but it won't hurt to try since nothing else seems to work!!!!! Why do they have a do not call list if it is not doing what it is suppose to do!

    same as everyone else.  How do i STOP THE CALLS?   5 times a day and from 603-555-1664 and other last 4 digits

    Start calling the do not call list and when asked to file a complaint do so, I have on 5 different numbers that I have received over and over if you have caller ID most of the time there will be a phone number, try to get the Federal trade Commission to stop these calls which are very annoying!!!!!

    No msg they hang up.  Call 3 or 4 times a day.
