I did not sing up for their service and they still took money out of my account
Complaint

Country: United States
I made a inquiry about a payday loan and at the bottom of the form was a list of services you could sign up for I checked the box marked no for all of them and was still signed up with them. I called the company the same day I got the email and was told it would be cancelled. Two months later this company debits my account. When I call them they tell me I should have been givin some cancelation code and with out that they could not help me. I asked to talk to a supervisor and was he was busy. Then I ask for their corporate number and they refuse and hang up on me. Who knows how many people they are ripping off daily this company is getting rich by performing illegal activities and there seem to be no way to stop them.

There have been a number of scam "payday loan" websites that appear to exist only to get consumer account information in order to start making fraudulent charges. This appears to be another "discount club" scam connected to such "payday loan" scams.
When dealing with scams, do not depend on cancellation or refund promises, since you are dealing with crooks. Go straight to your bank.
Immediately contact your bank to dispute all fraudulent charges, and close your account due to fraud to prevent additional future fraudulent charges. Your bank can reverse such fraudulent charges if you dispute promptly.
See advice in the above links.
Contact your bank.
You may also want to make a fraud and theft complaint to your local police and obtain a copy of the police report to document the theft.
Your bank must investigate disputed charges under FRB Reg. E (for checking accounts) or FCBA (for credit cards), if you have disputed within 60 days of the statement date of the statement showing the disputed charge.
If they fail to reverse the fraudulent charge, contact the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, at www.occ.gov, to file a complaint against your bank.
Christmas shopping season is prime credit card and checking account fraud season, and complaints of fraudulent charges have risen noticably.
