calling me constantly at work
Complaint
Mary Ann Williams
Country: United States
This company is calling me and this is the third one. The first two had me so scared, I went out and got an attorney to stop them from calling. Saying that they would call my employer and everyone would know what I did. They were going to come and get me (arrest me) as early as tomorrow morning. Two times, I ran and got money, put on a credit card and paid two companies off. I could not prove I didn't have the loans. They had all my information and my old bank info. But I will not fall for this again. I told this guy who just call me to come and get me. I am tired of this. Never again will I allow this group of callers to harrass me. They even had the nerve to tell me "I will not stop calling you" Then they start calling the main switchboard. They even called people who had # with the same prefix as mine. It is a night mare. I am submitting my comlaint to the Federal Reserve as well. " As my lawyer said, it's not a crime to owe a bill" Make them send you something in writing about the b ill, a copy of the installment note etc. The problem is you can't get a word in edge wide and yo can barely understand them.

Callers are usually from overseas, often India or Pakistan.
Report to the FBI, and ignore their threats.

"LLC Law Firm" is so widely reported in connection with overseas Indian scammers that it is purely accidental that the complainant has a loan. There is no relationship between any loan you might have, and this group of scammers.
They are calling at random looking for people who might have some loan, to convince and con them into paying them. Often they use fake "payday loan application" websites to capture consumer identity information, that they then weave into their script pretending you "took out a loan". People who might be fooled into applying at such sites may also have had real payday loans, so they are easier to con.
Here you go again, "Dave".
Why are YOU so interested in people believing lies and getting conned?

Court Halts Alleged Fake Debt Collector Calls from India, Grants FTC Request to Stop Defendants Who Often Posed as Law Enforcement
At the request of the Federal Trade Commission, a U.S. district court has halted an operation that the FTC alleges collected phantom payday loan “debts” that consumers did not owe.
