Withholding Funds

I never thought I'd be one writing this but SQUARE has managed to not only deactivate our account (which according to them it was their decision to do so without explanation) I still don't get it till this date as we sell children's clothing but moving on ahead that wasn't the part that kept us up. It was the amount of over $4500 they withheld - these were funds for services we have already rendered to customers that (according to SQUARE) was to be released within 90 days and the same day it was to finally be released (90 days later) they requested another 60 days and adding insult to injury they offer no option to contact them. They blocked us from twitter so don't try to speak your experience or the truth online. They will not take a phone call since we need a code and codes are only provided to active accounts and they don't reply to emails. So what other options are left? This one and going to issue complaints online with the BBB and attorney general.

Most all businesses I know need cash flow to cover operating expenses and after having discovered this website it shocked me to see I was not the only one and not many people know about it. Yes they as a company have a right to terminate any account they please - its their business, I don't have an issue with that as we use other services like PayPal and Braintree but they don't have a right to keep money that does not belong to them.

I will file a complaint with the attorney general but more importantly share this will all of my fellow business owners to see the dark side of working with SQUARE.
