They Call me 2 x daily on a automated and i have called back and told them that i am NOT the person they are looking for. I also told them to put me on the DO NOT CALL LIST.
They just called and I called back and they hang up on me 3x then when I got a live person i asked her not to hang up on me but i just want to confirm that they have removed me from system and they hung up on me again RUDE!

    It is a violation of FDCPA for a debt collector to repeatedly cause a phone to ring for purposes of harassment.

    Send them a letter, mailed certified, notifying them that they have been calling you, at nnn-nnn-nnnn, supposedly to reach some other person, that you have repeatedly told them to cease calling you, but they continue to harass you with calls.  Demand that they cease calling your number.

    On verifying that they have received your letter, through the usps.com site, if you receive further harassing calls, file FDCPA violation complaints with FTC, your state AG, and the Washington AG, and contact an attorney.  

    You can sue them for violations of FDCPA, and courts can award actual and statutory damages, and attorney fees, so there are attorneys who take these cases on contingency.  You can find a consumer attorney in your state through www.naca.net
