Keep getting calls from 949-202-4675 saying that I need to call them immediately and if I don't call they are not sure what will happen.  Wish me good luck and don't disregard this message.

Vaguely threatening call, including that your "SSN was being sued"[sic] (as you reported on other sites) indicates an attempt to panic you into paying money without investigating who you are dealing with or whether their claim is legitimate.  That is an indicator of a telemarketing or debt collection scam.

Consistent with reports of overseas (possibly India-based) scammers known to pose as "payday loan debt collectors", known to threaten lawsuits or immediate arrest, use phoney legal-sounding language, and who are reported to have access to U.S. consumer credit information which they use to scam U.S. citizens by phone.

Most reports indicate that allegations of unpaid "payday loans" are entirely fraudulent.

I was away when the calls came in but some jerk named Ray Hudson called my home at 4:42p, 4:45p and at 5:18p. Listening to the voicemail, I could tell he was trying to hide a thick accent, but more importantly he left threatening messages. I have forwarded the callers name and contact information to the Attorney Generals Office.

I just had the same phone call. First left a message that I needed to call back right away. The guy who answered using one name then when I asked for the person who left the message he suddenly changed his name and said it was him. They then proceeded to threaten me for a pay day loan (which I have never received) telling me they would get me fired from my job, have my driver license suspended, report me to social security so I would not be able to collect benefits if I didnt pay them over 500.00 right away. They would not provide any information as to who they were collecting the debt for, or when this alleged transaction took place. If anyone has any further information on this outfit please reply.

What you have is an extortion attempt from a bunch of crooks based in India.  File a police complaint to put it on the record.  You might also file a complaint with ic3.gov

They may keep calling as long as they think they can get money out of you.  Tell them you are recording the call, and have reported them to the police.  In fact, you might as well record them.  Maybe a local TV station will do a story on them.

They can't actually do any of the things they threaten.  They just keep raising the threats, trying to panic people into paying.  Most other complaints are similar to yours, including not having any outstanding "payday loan", or any ever.  There are some reports they may have access to U.S. credit report information, possibly old, so they may have SSNs or addresses to try to make their fraudulent claims sound legitimate.

About the most they can do is what they are doing:  threatening you on the phone.  There is a slim chance they might try to harass you at work, though, so file a police report and do not disclose ANY information.  If telling them you have reported them to the police doesn't stop the calls, just hang up until they give up.
