Is this likely a fraudulent account, opened by some crook in your name? Is it more likely some debt collector "misidentifying" you as the alleged "debtor"? Is the bill directly from Verizon, or from some debt collector? "without a phone number" Do you mean there is no number to call them back, or it's a bill that doesn't indicate what phone number the "account" was associated with? Have you called Verizon's fraud department, and asked them what this account is?
